HISTORICAL SOCIETY BOARD MEETING,  MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2010,  EVERYONE WELCOME

MACHINE SHED

This large building houses a huge 65 hp. Case steam engine which was used many years for threshing grain in nearby Wyoming.  The big engine is fired up each year for the Historical Society's annual Open House the first Sunday in June.  The annual event brings back memories to the "old timers" and wide-eyed amazement to the youngsters when they hear the steam engine whistle.  Also see many of the implements used to tame the virgin prairie. Steam driven Case Tractor
A wide variety of cars, trucks and horse drawn machinery are also on display.

.

Museum Open House will be Saturday, June 12, 2010
