HISTORICAL SOCIETY BOARD MEETING,  MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2010,  EVERYONE WELCOME

Genealogy

One of the primary functions of the Banner County Historical Society is to provide Banner County information for genealogists.  The museum houses a microfilm reader and the Banner County newspapers on film as well as several rolls of census.  Other records include family genealogies, marriage license index, homestead filings, obituaries, civil war veterans, cemetery locations and listings, rural schools, scrap books and a file of indexed old pictures, to name a few. We do our best to do “look ups” for researchers.

We would like to inform you of a genealogy web site that includes Banner County information:  http://www.wnfrhc.org/~banner/

Museum Open House will be Saturday, June 12, 2010
